Vacancies Available for Home Based Self Employed Typists

Thank you for your interest in working for Typing Services.

I currently have a full team of typists so I am not looking for anyone at this particular time. However, I am happy to keep your details on file in order to be contacted in the future if any vacancies/opportunties should arise.

What Am I Looking For?

I am looking for typists who are accurate in their work, can follow instructions and can offer a quick turnaround.

You must be able to accept any type of audio file format and you must be versatile and flexible with regards to accepting any type of transcription.

How Do You Apply?

If you would like your details to be held on file, please drop me an email at ninadouglas@typing-services.co.uk, stating your interest and a little bit about yourself and your typing experience. Please do not attach CV's to your email as these will not be opened.

What Happens Next if I am Contacted in the Future?

If a vacancy/opportunity arises I will contact you by email to see if you are are still interested and inform you of the current rates. I will then ask you to complete and sign a confidentiality agreement. When this is returned I will send a test ten minute audio with full instructions for you to type and return. Please note that you will not be paid to undertake this test. Your completed test will be judged on the ability to follow instructions and how accurately the audio has been transcribed. Although you need a fairly quick typing speed in order to make it work for you financially and to provide a quick turnaround, I am actually more interested in accuracy, rather than WPM. I will then inform you if you have passed the test and have been added to the list of available typists. Please note my decision is final.
